3D Rigger

Nocturnal Knights is seeking a 3D Rigger proficient in the following areas:

  • Setting up armatures in Maya
  • Weight Painting
  • An ability to work with animators to troubleshoot issues
  • Familiarity with humanoid and non-humanoid rigging techniques
  • Recognize proper mesh topology and provide feedback to the modelers when needed

Skills in the following areas are also highly valued:

  • A strong understanding of anatomy
  • A familiarity with Unity or Unreal
  • A familiarity with 3Ds Max or Blender
  • Good Communication skills

In order to receive course credit, selected candidates must be enrolled in Studio Lab and expected to commit a minimum of 100 hours to the projects they’re assigned to at Nocturnal Knights.
